Insurance Plans & PBM Reform

Every purchase from our boutique helps us continue providing the personalized care you know and trust. (We’re expanding this Fall!!)

COULD WE CREATE AN INSURANCE GROUP FOR OUR PATIENTS? Never been done as far as we know, but we’re persuing it.

.

Thank you for choosing us! Your independent, woman-owned, small business.

HOW DO WE SOLVE THE CRISIS?

Because our community will have nearly no options in 2027, we are exploring:
1) How to revamp a Cash Loyalty Plan that makes medications affordable for you and sustainable for us to dispense.
2) Could we create an insurance group for our patients? Never been done as far as we know, but we’re persuing it.

2027 Plans will be very limited in Central Oregon!

What do we do?

COMMERCIAL

If you have had insurance through your employer from outside of the County, your coverage will likely continue.

If you have a say in your local employer’s group insurance choice, look at Moda, and potentially Moda via the Bend Chamber.

As of now, on the exchange you will only be able to buy Regence & Bridgespan, who are owned by the same company, Prime — WHO WILL NOT AGREE TO COVER OUR COSTS.

We encourage you to CALL REGENCE 1-888-675-6570 & tell them you want your independent pharmacy to receive a fair contract.

They don’t want us to announce details about payment, but if they aren’t coming close to covering our costs it’s only fair for us to tell you that Bridgespan comes closer than Regence.

MEDICARE

You’ll have ONE Drug Plan option: AARP by United Healthcare (WHO DO COVER OUR COSTS– YAY!)

And ONE Medicare Advantage option: PacificSource Medicare (WHICH UNDERPAYS US)

If you still have access to a NAVITUS plan, please keep it!

WE ARE ENDING OUR HUMANA CONTRACT — they’re just too far under cost

WE WILL ALSO NOT TAKE SILVERSCRIPTS — also just too far under cost

We understand that your options in Deschutes County are extremely limited and we appreciate your support!!
